Hello Family and Friends:
RoLayne and I have recently been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We will be serving in the Arizona, Tucson Mission. Our primary assignment will be to serve at the Fort Huachuca Military Installation as military relations specialists. We report to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on September 30, 2013. We have been called to serve for 12 months. Our assignment may be modified according to the needs of the mission president.

Our family and friends have encouraged us to start a blog so that they can follow us along our journey during the next year. This will likely be a bit of a challenge for us as we have never written a blog before and neither of us has been faithful in keeping a journal. We hope that you will continue to encourage us and lend suggestions and assistance as we proceed.

  1. I am so very proud of you and grateful to have you as a big brother. You have always set the righteous example for me. It will be fun to share this experience with you.

I also appreciate you wearing the pin. I am still trying to educate as many people about this wicked disease and give them the website amyloidosisonline.com. If they read and learn about it, then if they have a loved one or friend who is complicated and Dr's are without a diagnosis, perhaps a bell will ring in their memory about some of the symptoms.

I love you so very much. I love the picture.
    Love,
    Linda
